Shadow is a pretty obvious choice for leveling since you need to deal damage. The points in Discipline will help boost that damage and also your healing affects. But health will not be such an issue, Mana will be. How can you sort this?

Well, until level 32 you will have to either sit down and drink a lot, or kill mobs slowly to conserve mana. At level 32 you will get the spell Shadow Word: Death. Add the Glyph of Spirit Tap to your Major Glyph spot and you will do better mana wise. That Glyph will return 12% of your total mana over 12 seconds each time you use that ability.
